Mamas! As you know, we changed the name of this community from “Mama Mindset” to “Mom: In-Process.” I discuss the reason for that change in Episode 103, “New Name, Same Game.” The short version of the change is that I found out “Mama Mindset” is a registered trademark and owned by another woman wanting to build her own business that focuses on helping mamas. The owner of that trademark is Anik Cockroft. So, after my two-second pity party, I decided I needed to meet this woman and have her on the show. As it turns out, she’s truly amazing, and the conversation we have goes deep into mindset and motherhood, as well as the laughable journey in how our worlds have collided in such a positive and beautiful way.
She is a Board Certified Pediatrician, Sports medicine Physician, writer, and mama of 2. She stepped away from her career to focus on motherhood and empowering mamas using her experience in the medical industry, personal journey in motherhood, and deep work she has done in mindset and personal development.
I’m so glad our worlds have come together and that I followed my instinct to meet her. Anik is a one-in-a-million type woman, and I’m grateful to have aligned with her. As women, we can truly create change in the world when we come together and collaborate in an open, honest, and vulnerable way.
